20 Years of Automated Cell Culture - 1989 - 2009
To commemorate our '20 Years of Automated Cell Culture', this web site presents information which we hope you will find useful and informative, including the launch of our new 'cell culture podcast' series.
In 1989 TAP installed its first automated cell culture system. Following in-house design and development, we installed four Cellmates to automate production of protein therapeutics in roller bottles .

Twenty years later, our automated cell culture range has expanded and includes systems with applications in discovery research, regenerative medicine and bioprocessing. These range from fully integrated systems to smaller bench top products.

Download or listen online to an interview with Professor Chris Mason of UCL discussing the challenges faced by research into regenerative medicine
over the past 20 years.
