Automated T Flask Processing - CompacT CellBase

Automated T Flask Processing - CompacT CellBase
CompacT CellBase is a flexible, system for automated T flask processing. It is based on the established SelecT system, which has proven the feasibility, reliability and productivity of automated cell culture in over 40 laboratories around the world.
CompacT CellBase delivers all of the benefits of automated cell culture in a smaller system suitable for the medium throughput laboratory and offers dramatic improvements in throughput, productivity and quality of outputted cells.

Different media formulations can be automatically prepared for each different cell line.
Cell suspension handling - CompacT CellBase uses a disposable 10ml pipette to seed, aspirate and mix.
CompacT CellBase automates:

  • Automated T flask processing
  • Maintaining stock cell cultures for multiple projects
  • Expanding cell numbers through the seeding of a number of flasks
  • Harvesting of cells in flasks for off-line processing
  • Pooling of cells from harvested flasks
  • Counting and viability measurement and dilution of cells for subculture
  • Performing chemical transfections of cells
  • Incubation of up to 130 T 175 flask
CompacT CellBase offers:

  • Total flexibility in batch size and numbers of cell lines
  • Full audit trail security via bar coded tracking of flasks
  • Continuous unattended operation
  • Small footprint 2 m x 1m – fits easily into any standard laboratory
CompacT Cellbase is used for maintenance and expansion of cells for output in flasks or harvested suspensions.
CompacT CellBase utilises aseptic processing to grow and maintain cells from multiple cell lines in T-175 flasks in a controlled environment (negative pressure laminar air flow) eliminating all possibility for cross contamination. The system provides a comprehensive solution for automated T flask processing.
Applications include:

  • Assay development
  • Screening
  • Lead optimisation
