Capit-All
is a standalone product for decapping and
recapping screw-cap microtubes held in 96-way
racks.
Capit-All
has been designed as an affordable bench
top product, for use in any laboratory and
within a laminar airflow enclosure. The
product has been designed to reduce the
inefficiencies and risks associated with
repetitive manual decapping and recapping
of large amounts of screw-cap microtubes.
Lab staff using Capit-All
find it takes approximately 10 seconds
to automatically decap all 96
tubes simultaneously, with each tube staying
in its allotted place in the rack. The rack
can then be removed by the lab staff ready
for further manually processing, such as
pipetting. When presented back into the
unit it will automatically recap all 96
tubes.
