TAP provides a comprehensive range of support services
to assist customers in the effective operation and maintenance
of their systems.
 
Training courses
Supply of standard, advanced and refresher courses for operator and front-line maintenance training. Courses covering more specialised topics (e.g. liquid handling) are also available to help increase operational performance and quality.
Start-up support
Provision of support and / or project management services to help customers during start-up and transitional phases of operation. Includes scoping, planning, risk management of operational activities and personnel as required.
Rapid Cell Supply Service (for automated cell culture systems)
Designed to help customers accelerate key cell line supply from their automated cell culture systems following installation. This service combines TAP's expertise in cell culture automation with the customer's own cell supply skills.
Process improvement
A consultative programme to assist with the integration and process flow of automation systems, and ensure that delivery profile matches expectations at all levels in the organisation. Includes process analysis, schedule monitoring and application review.
Protocol supply (for automated cell culture systems)
TAP can provide new protocols for customers with automated cell culture systems. Existing protocols can also be modified to enhance functionality and optimise performance.
 
System reviews
For customers with established TAP systems. System Reviews seek to analyze the present status and delivery capability of an installed system, discuss key system metrics and make recommendations to meet future needs.
Provision of system operators and engineers
Supply of trained personnel to run TAP automated sample management and cell culture systems and provide front-line maintenance.
Application support
For customers with cell culture systems TAP provides scientific and biological support from life scientists familiar with TAP's systems and customers' science.
Spares supply
TAP will supply customers with all the spare parts necessary for the recommended level of on-site holding, and also provide customers with access to their spares holding 'at base' for less frequently required parts. The procurement and logistics function also provides same-day procurement and dispatch operations worldwide for all adhoc spares requests.
Consumables supply
TAP also provides a range of high performance, automation friendly, consumables and labware; compatible with TAP systems. These can be supplied on a call-off basis or as required.
